Job Description:
The Executive Director, Engagement Management is typically the Engagement
Leader and has overall responsibility for a client or multiple clients.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills,
with ability to sell solutions to senior and executive management within
a client organization
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation
skills (able to lead client meetings with senior and executive personnel;
able to create and deliver persuasive presentations, etc.)
- 7+ years of experience applying concepts in strategy,
marketing, advertising, e-business, media, and brand management; building
strong relationships within client organizations through quality work and
thought leadership; process definition and the ability to define solutions
that will generate measurable results for the client; managing people, tasks,
and clients in a matrix environment
- 5+ years of experience overseeing and, if necessary,
effectively leading and motivating large multi-disciplinary project teams;
managing client P&L (which requires a comprehensive understanding of
financial and operational metrics and levers); experience in a similar role
in a web development firm, IT consulting firm, strategy consulting firm,
or agency environment; or equivalent transferable client-side experience
- Able to manage multiple projects as one cohesive
client program; creating efficiencies and economies for both client and
Organic
- Effectively balance client's needs and priorities
with Organic's needs and priorities; able to influence
client decisions
- Demonstrated ability to identify additional revenue
opportunities, and growing account revenues year over year
- Excellent project management skills and experience,
including:
- Budget/schedule development and
management/oversight
- Resource management and forecasting
- Task and delivery management
- Risk identification and management
- Leadership, teambuilding, and
team management
- Strong negotiation skills (especially
contract negotiations) with both clients and partners
- In depth strategic and tactical
knowledge of online media marketing plans, including online creative;
online media planning and buying; online performance analysis
- Familiarity with online application
development and methodology as well as various technologies including
but not limited to: application server technologies and products across
both Windows and Unix platforms; XML; Content Management Systems and technologies;
- Database development and Interface
technologies.
- Familiarity with the overall
site development process as well as creative processes, UI design issues,
IA, writing for the web, online marketing and branding, and ecommerce
issues
- Advanced negotiating skills and
contract (statement of work) experience required
- Professionally responsive to
customer inquires and committed to excellence in all customer communication
- Facilitates investigation and
research into each opportunity in order to ensure our solution is packaged
in a compelling and meaningful way
- Communicate industry opportunities
to management and help facilitate internal enhancements designed to best
position the company for success
- Manages the team development
of formal proposal and presentation strategy
- PMI certification a plus
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA
or equivalent graduate degree preferred
Responsibilities and Essential Functions Include

- Identifying and mitigating client
account execution risks
- Managing client teams of up to
20 people
- 35- 50% Travel, depending on
client accounts
