Position Title:  National Channels Manager

Build and Manager Relationships

As National Channels Group Manager for Our client, your primary responsibilities will include: developing an integrated strategy for Our client in the Canadian marketplace covering all products and markets, working as a player-coach for the channels group, building and maintaining excellent relationships with all of our key partners including VARs and Systems Integrators, creating and executing plans with our key partners that lead to revenue generation.

Qualifications and Requirements Responsibilities:

•Assume overall responsibility for development and execution of business plans with partners showing benefits to the partners and Our client.

•Maintain close relationships with Sales, Marketing, Consulting Services, System Engineering, and Product  Development to build and evolve joint business opportunities.

•Establish a tight partnership between the Channels Group and Our client Field Sales and work closely with them on all opportunities.

•Coordinate Partner involvement in Our client’ Partner Programs, solution certifications, and events.

•Manage alliance relationships.

•Effectively communicate the combined value proposition, company vision, product and service capabilities to partners, sales, and customers.

•Provide verbal and written status reports, competitive updates and other partner information in support of Our client's sales objectives.

•Travel: from 20% to 40%

•Provide sales forecast for all major partners.

 
Qualifications:

•Min. 8+ years of relevant experience including people management, sales, and partner relationship management

•In-depth business knowledge of Our client’s value-add and market position would be an advantage.

•World-class presentation skills at CXO-level.

•Great communication and relationship-building skills.

•Demonstrated experience using Integrated Solution Selling methodologies successfully.

•Able to think strategically and move forward tactically.

•Experience with SI and ISV Alliances would be a strong asset

•Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills required.

•Ability to transfer knowledge to others through verbal and written formats.

•Ability and willingness to understand and translate technical information for presentation to both technical and non-technical partner executives.

•Ability to deliver presentations of current and developing Our client products & solutions.

•BS or equivalent degree.

•Proven track record measured by over achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction and business results.

•Candidate will be a highly organized, self-starter who can demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness and be a strong leader.
