Project
Manager
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing and leading software
application development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the specification
of requirements, design, development and implementation of software products.
- Interface with the business
team and other organizations.
- Provide day to day project
management of a team of technical designers and developers from internal and
external suppliers to achieve the project goals for their assigned projects.
- Manage software production
with consistent high quality.
- Achieve optimum client
satisfaction
- Act as the main point
of contact for feedback on project progress and other project related information
- Determine project staffing
needs in collaboration with senior project team members
- Manage and organize project
documentation
- Trouble shoot any possible
problems or issues
- Collect and organize
content for the project
- Ensure that all project
work is examined and meets quality and accuracy requirements
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer
Science or related technical field with a minimum of ten years experience
in a software development/maintenance shop.
- Experience using project
management tools, such as Project Workbench or MS Project.
- 7+ years Application
Development experience in an IBM Mainframe, Client Server (UNIX or NT), or
Web Based technology environment.
- Proficient in budget
management and software
- Professional demeanor
- confident but not arrogant; good presentation skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent communication
skills
- Must be able to deal
with extremely demanding clients and extremely high quality standards
- Should possess above
average analytical and problem solving abilities
- Needs to be highly organized
and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently
and collaboratively in a team environment
