Senior Software Engineer
As a software engineer you
will be responsible for the design and construction of application components.
This position will focus on server side design and construction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead/document technical
design and architecture
- Work with project leaders
and business analysts to understand requirement
- Analyze and document
detailed requirements for application components
- Work with project technical
leaders to develop designs for application components
- meet with clients
- Document design and technical
specifications for components
- Code application components
- Execute unit tests
- Document components
- Analyze and diagnose
application problems
Qualifications:
- Post Secondary Education
in Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Very strong development
background. Minimum of 7 years experience in software development with a focus
on application development in C/C++, VC++, COM/DCOM, MFC etc..
- Strong programming abilities
and testing skills
- Strong verbal and written
communication skills
- Understanding of software
development process
- Understanding of transaction
processing systems
- Understanding of data
modeling concepts and techniques
- Oracle RDBMS
- N-tier development using
CORBA
